Mrs. Erwin’s class at Ackerman Elementary School enjoyed watching Frozen 2 at the movies on Tuesday!




Mrs. Gammill and Mr. Richardson had several of their 3rd graders at Ackerman Elementary School attend a good behavior rewards trip. These students were treated to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday.




Lanah-Claire Wells, a 5th grader at Ackerman Elementary School, did an amazing job being an office worker on Tuesday!


Pre-K students in Mrs. Zirlott and Mrs. Fondren’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time on Tuesday making reindeer food, making Polar Express necklaces, and having hot chocolate and donuts.

Mrs. Bruister’s 4th graders at Ackerman Elementary School did an amazing job on their PACE presentations. Before presentations students enjoyed a medieval feast with one another!



Several of Mrs. Barnett and Mrs. Jackson’s 3rd graders at Ackerman Elementary School went on a rewards trip for their good behavior. These students were treated to lunch at Applebee’s in Starkville! Great job students!





The Natural Disaster Expo hosted by Mrs. Utley’s 4th grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School went off without a hitch. Everyone walked away with a new understanding of natural disasters and how to protect themselves and the people they love.





2nd graders at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time at their Polar Express day! They did a lot of fun activities throughout each class and even made Polar Express lanterns.





Students in Mrs. Turnipseed and Mrs. K. Tuck’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had some fun with gingerbread today. Each group made gingerbread houses and predicted if the gingerbread man/girl would float or not.





Pre-K students at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time at their parental involvement event on Friday with their family members. Singing, decorating gingerbread houses, and reading we’re on the agenda. Thank you to everyone who attended.





AES 6th grade Top Writers were treated to lunch from Weaver’s Restaurant on Friday! Great job students!


5th graders in Mrs. Bruister’s PACE class at Ackerman Elementary School had their medieval presentations on Thursday. Students got to show off their creativity to a royal court of family members after their morning feast!




Mrs. Lisa’s and Mrs. Margie’s PreK students at Ackerman Elementary brought the most canned food items for the Broken Wings Food Drive in November. They received a pizza party for their hard work. The students want to say thank you to Broken Wings.





The 5th grade doctors at the Ackerman Elementary PACE Medical Plaza had a great day seeing patients and diagnosing “symptoms” of their friends and family in their own personal clinics. The students were able to inform the patients about their “illnesses” and explain treatment options and procedures that may be necessary to help them.





3rd grade students at Ackerman Elementary School had a wonderful Grandparent’s Day Luncheon on Thursday! What a great turnout of family members who came to have lunch with the students!
